A Fatal Injury.
News comes to Lancaster, as we go to press, of an injury that will doubtless prove fatal to Leonard Griswold, a son of Solomon Griswold, proprietor of the Rock mill, northwest of Lancaster.
He was at work repairing the dume when some heavy oak timbers fell upon him, crushing him almost beyond recognition. He was carried to the house and medical aid summoned, which from the accounts of the messenger, will be unavailing. The young man was about 23 years old.
