Richard D. Geiling age 82 of Owosso passed away Sunday. August 18, 2013 at Sparrow Hospital of Lansing. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel of Owosso with Rev. Fr. David Fisher officiating. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM also at the funeral home.

Richard was born March 4, 1931 in Ostego Lake Township a son of Herman and May Geiling. He was married to Mary Ann Martinski for the past 58 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, radio controlled air planes and taking care of his lawn. Prior to his retirement in 1993 he had been employed by Indian Trails for many years.

Surviving Richard is his wife, Mary Geiling; children, Danny (Sheila) Geiling and David Geiling; grandchildren, Lana and Nina Geiling; and great granddaughter, Liberty Poe.
