Ina P. "Sally" Marvin, 82, of Keokuuk, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, at the Keokuk Nursing Center.
She was born on April 12, 1919, in Winfield, the daughter of William and alta P. Lathrop Eilers. She married Carl O. Marvion on Sept. 14, 1939, in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1992.
Survivors include: a son, Carl R. Marvin of Missouri; two daughters, Sharon Lemon and her husband, James of Keokuk and Sala Marlin and her husband, Bill, of Burlington; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchileren; two sisters, Faith ole and her husband, Richard, of New Londaon and Goldie Albright of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.
She had lived in Keokuk most of her adult life. Mrs. Marvin had been employed by Sheller-Globe and Swift & Company an had worked with her husband in their business.
She loved music and dancing and being with her family. Mrs. Marvin was of the Baptist Faith.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at DeJong's Funeral Home, with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial will be in the Montrose Cemetery.
Visitation is today at the funeral home, with family meeting friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
