HAROLD H. MATTHES, 36, of 20 Fair St., died at the General Hospital at midnight Friday after a three week illness.
Born in Mansfield, June 27, 1898, he lived here all of his life. He was employed at the Westinghouse Electric Mgr. Co. and was a member of St. John's Evangelical Church.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Matthes; two daughters, Ruth and Violet; one sister, Mrs. Christ Reining of Mansfield; one brother, J. Loran Matthes of Halleck, NV.
Services will be held at the Wappner Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Paul Saleste. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
