CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Bonadyne “Bonnie” (Wobbenhorst) Dirks, 90, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Belden, died Aug. 23, 2013, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Saturday at the church, under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home, Coleridge.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Aug. 31, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Coleridge, with Rev. Katherine Russell officiating.
Burial will be in the Belden Cemetery.
Surviving family members include her daughter, Darlene Armstrong, and husband, Joe, Omaha; her son, David Dirks, and wife, Ann, Omaha; her son-in-law, Mike Peters, Clifton Park, N.Y.; her beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Peters McCurry, Pittsburgh, Pa.; John Peters, Clifton Park, N.Y.; and Emma Dirks and David Dirks, Omaha; and her great-grandchildren, Peter and Zoe Peters McCurry, Pittsburgh, Pa.; one sister-in-law, Jeannette Wobbenhorst, Belden; and many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Harold; her daughter, Diane Peters, Clifton Park, N.Y.; her parents, John and Emma (Frerichs) Wobbenhorst; and brother, Robert Wobbenhorst, Belden.
