Mr. Collier died Thursday, March 18, of congenital heart disease. He was 49.
He was born Feb. 7, 1955, in Grass Valley. He graduated from Nevada Union High School in 1973. He lived in Grass Valley most of his life, working in the construction industry. He spent 13 years in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, moving back to Grass Valley last year. He enjoyed fly fishing and riding his Harley. He also enjoyed the outdoors and all animals, especially dogs.
He is survived by his sisters Carolyn Podesta, Clarise Brady, Kimette Neufeld, and Joette Collier; brothers Buster and Byron Collier; and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Maynard "Bud" Collier and Rae Buster Collier; and sister, Bernalee Collier.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Association or the No Kill Animal Shelter.
