She was born in Seneca County, Nov. 18, 1941, to William G. and Mary E. (Hayman)
Clark. Her mother and step-father, E. Marvin Caudill, survive in rural Carey. On
May 25, 1961, she married Donald Futrell, and he died in 1965. She later married
Robert E. Farmer, May 10, 1967, and he died May 17, 1985.
Other survivors include: a son, Gregory L. Futrell of North Baltimore; four
grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Billie Jean Winter of Liberty Lake, WA.,
Robert Clark of McCutchenville and Mrs. Branson ''Bud'' (Sharon) Miller of Upper
Sandusky; two step-brothrs, Danny Caudill of North Baltimore and Keith Caudill
of Carey; two half-brothers, William Clark II and James Clark and a half sister,
Chandra Clark, all of Phoenix, Ariz.
Her father is also deceased.
Mrs. Farmer retired as a senior accountant from the National Lime and Stone
Company in Findlay. She also was a bookkeeper for Vanlue Elevator.
A 1958 graduate of Carey High School, she attended Capital University, Bexley,
and was a member of the Vanlue United Methodist Church, where she served as
organist and pianist; and the Christian Community Center, Upper Sandusky.
She was a former member of Order of Eastern Stars, Layfatte.
Services in the Stombaugh Memorial Funeral Home, Carey, will be 2:30 p.m.
Wednesday, with the Rev. Larry Fairbanks officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant
Ridge Cemetery, rural Sycamore.
Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.
