Maryville, Ill.--Funeral services for Mayor John Thomas Drost will be Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery.
Mr. Drost, 58 years old, died Saturday at 4:45 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital, Clayton, Mo.
Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Grizio; three children, Mrs. Donald (Maryann) Bitzer of Urbana, Mrs. Donald (Judy) Wiemann and Jon Drost, both of Maryville; a brother and sister, Tony Drost and Mrs. William (Ann) Frankman of Maryville; and five grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home, Collinsville, after 7 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited Tuesday night at 8 o'clock.
Mr. Drost was a member of the Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus Council 1712. He was a member of the Maryville Volunteer Fire Department.
