Mrs. Gracie Eberhardt, 61, Lenore, died last night at 9:20 at St. Joseph's Hospital where she had been a patient since July 13. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage.
Born October 1, 1897, at Salem, Oregon, she came to Lenore with her parents in 1894. She was married to Herman Eberhardt at Lewiston on March 14, 1912.
She was a mother of 11 children, and a member of the Lewiston First Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, at Lenore; six sons, Bernard J. Eberhardt, Albion, Boyd and Colby Eberhardt of Lenore, Walter Eberhardt of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Army Private Edward Eberhardt at Ft. Benning, Georgia; five daughters, Mrs. Raymond Gentry of Pomerory, Mrs. Paul Byrne of Clarkston, Mrs. William Herning of Fairbanks, Alaska, Mrs. Gerald Rue of Los Angeles, California; two brothers, Boyd Cook of Lewiston and Lloyd Cook of Lewiston; her father J. P. Cook of Lewiston.
