Mary E. Campana, age 88, of Madison, a homemaker, passed away Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Madison.
She was born July 18, 1922, in Fairport Harbor, to Elizabeth (Barrish) and Joseph Szabo.
She married Paul Campana in Fairport Harbor, on June 25, 1949.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and taught CCD classes. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors are her sons, Carmen (Wendy) Campana of Perry and Joseph (Deborah) Campana of Geneva; grandchildren, Jason, Brad and Brendan; and great-grandchild, Haliegh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her parents; brother, Joseph; and sisters, Anne, Margaret, Helen and Betty.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 15, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River St., Madison 44057.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 16, at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison, with Rev. Sean Donnelly officiating. Final resting place will be at Perry Cemetery in Perry.
