Robert F. "Robbie" Hinnenkamp, 89 Melrose Aug. 1, 1924 - Sept. 5, 2013 Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose for Robert "Robbie" Hinnenkamp who died at the CentraCare Hospital in Melrose. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Robert Frank Hinnenkamp was born August 1, 1924 in Melrose, Minnesota to Ben, Jr. and Mary (Angelbeck) Hinnenkamp. Robert was raised on a farm north of Melrose where he continued to live and raise his family marrying Lorraine Van Beck in 1947. He retired from farming unofficially in 1980 when he and Lorraine moved into Melrose, until her death in 1993. In recent years, Robert enjoyed fishing with family and friends, playing many hands of Solo, and driving tractor at the farm.He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose.Survivors include his sons, Duane (Bernita) Hinnenkamp of Melrose and Donald (Donna Jansen) Hinnenkamp of Melrose; son-in-law, Gene (Sue) Lieser of Circle Pines; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Colette Von Wahlde of Melrose, Irma Otte of Sauk Centre, and Bernadine Winter of Greenwald.He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Hinnenkamp on January 9, 1993; parents; daughter, Diane Lieser; brothers and sisters, Theckla Blenker, Clarence Hinnenkamp, Ludwina Brake, Isadore Hinnenkamp, Herbert Hinnenkamp, and Ben Hinnenkamp.
