Mrs. Maas died Thursday at a West Point hospital. She was born March 25, 1881, in Iowa. She lived northeast of West Point on a farm until 26 years ago when she moved to West Point.
She was a member of Zion’s Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Haas was married at Lyons Feb. 25, 1909 to Carl Maas, who died Feb. 27, 1969. Her maiden name was Matilda Munderloh.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. William (Emma) Jahnke of Bancroft; two sons, John and Clarence, both of Bancroft; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Zion’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. Ben Stalp Funeral Home is in charge
