ALEXANDER M POWER of Cocoa, FL died at home. He was the son of Michael G and Panayota Georgala Power. Alex grew up in Brazil, graduated from St Patrick's College, Ottawa, Canada, studied airline mechanics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautic School in Miami, FL, was a U.S. Air force veteran, worked as an airline mechanic and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Preceded in death by his brother, William, surviving are his wife, Marian D Hansen Power (married 10/25/1958 in Carteret, NJ); daughters, Karen Bleuel (Matt) and Linda Sanchez (Rick); grandsons, Nicholas Ghafoori of Merritt Island, FL, Alexander Bleuel of Cocoa, FL and Eric Sanchez of Milford, NH. A Funeral Mass will be held September 13, 2013 at St Teresa Catholic Church in Titusville, FL. Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home on Merritt Island, FL is serving the family.
