Mrs. Emma Jane Goss of210 Pine Street, South Huntingdon, died Sunday, June 15, 1958, at 4:40 p.m. at her late home. She had been ill for six months.
She was born February 17, 1868, in Miller Township, Huntingdon County, a daughter of Frederick and Eliza (Morningstar) Garner. She was twice married. She first married Daniel Speck; he preceded her in death. She later married John Goss and he also preceded her in death.
The deceased is survived by the following children: Mrs. Janet Vaughn of South Huntingdon; Walter Goss, Huntingdon; Mrs. John C. Hess, Huntingdon; Mrs. Lewis Dunlap, Altoona; and Mrs. Earl Pollock, Huntingdon. There are 16 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Miles Garner of Huntingdon.
She was a member of the 15th Street Methodist Church and in recent years she attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, at 2 p.m. from Green's funeral home, Huntingdon. The Rev. Theodore Steckel, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Hawn's Bridge Cemetery, Juniata Township. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. on Tuesday until the time for the service.

Grave relocated to White Church (Jacob's Church) Cemetery by the Army Corp of Engineers due to Raystown Lake Project.
