OBITUARY-
Esther M. Dahlback, 80, of Austin, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at Austin Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 15, 1922, in Wheeler, Wis., to Esten and Mabel (Matison) Dahlback.
She attended Austin Public Schools and worked for Hormel Foods Corporation for 42 years, retiring in 1979.
She was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Ruble, Austin; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Kathy Dahlback, West Salem, Wis.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Nina Swoboda, Austin; Delores Dahlback, Austin; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Helen Dahlback, Austin; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers and sisters; son-in-law, Randy Ruble; and two great-granddaughters.

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2003, at the mortuary and Saturday at the church for one hour before the service.
Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ron Barnett officiating. Casket bearers will be Todd Perry, Jeffrey Perry, Jeremy Dahlback, Lisa Dahlback, Holly Dahlback, Adam Hoppin and Andrea Hoppin.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.
Funeral Home: Clasen-Jordan Mortuary, Austin.
