The funeral was held 11:15 a.m. today from the VFW Community Center in Larose,with religious services following 11:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in
Larose. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Octavia Thomassie Galjour; two sons, Roland and J. C. Galjour; a daughter, Carol Galjour; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a son, Thomas Alton Galjour.
