Arlene A. Michaelson, age 73, of Pound, Wisconsin died March 19, 2009 at home. The daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Patz) Mattrisch was born June 7, 1935 at Menominee, MI.

She was a 1953 graduate of Coleman High School and attended Marinette County Normal School. She graduated from UW-River Falls.

On June 11, 1960, she married Donald Michaelson at the Assembly of God Church in Pound.

She taught elementary school in Pine City, Minnesota; North St. Paul, Minnesota and then at Marinette Public School. She was a school teacher for 33 years. She was a member of the Christian Life Center in Pound and the Wisconsin Education Association.

Survivors include her husband Donald,
a daughter Lynn Ann (Gary) Johnson of Seneca, S.C.
and four grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Craig M. Michaelson in 1982 and her twin brother Arnold Mattrisch.
