E. Fredora Wilson Davis, 92, of Sutton, went home to be with Jesus, passing Aug. 4, 2004, at Braxton County Memorial Hospital, Gassaway, WV following a short illness.
She was born March 3, 1912, in Braxton County, a daughter of the late Milton Royal and Alice C. 'Lotta' Tippens Wilson. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Earnest Lee Davis, who died Dec. 21, 1975; one brother, Cyril M. Wilson; three sisters, Crystabel Johnston, Luella Crynock and infant sister, Judith Wilson.
She is survived by two sisters, Yula Tinney and Zelda Rhodes of Tesla, WV; several nieces and nephews; a host of friends; and caregiver, Sue Dilley, who were all dearly loved.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at Stump Chapel Church, Tesla, WV, with the Rev. Marvin Given officiating. Burial will be in Braxton County Cemetery.
