ROBERT SHIELDS DEAD.
Robert Shields died of a lingering illness at 8 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Grant Lewis, 736 West Fourth avenue. Mr. Shields was nearly 70 years old and had been living with his daughter since the death of his wife, several years ago. Besides Mrs. Lewis, he leaves three other children. They are Mrs. Edward Casner, Charles Shields and Robert Shields, of Topeka. The funeral will be held from the Lewis home tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock and the interment will be made in Maplewood cemetery.
