Bob has been reunited with his beloved wife of 40 years, the late Eva Mary Ross.
Sam was a graduate of Norwich University and then served in the U.S. Army.
Bob lived in Brigantine for many years prior to moving to Mays Landing in 1979. He was a proud member of the Carpenters' Union and worked at Trump Marina for many years. He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan.
Bob is survived by five children:
Marguerite Pohlig (Jesse) of Mays Landing; Deborah Conner (David Manning) of Absecon, Charlotte Holloway of Pennsylvania,
Daniel Ross (Colleen Fields) of Mays Landing and Matthew Scott Ross (Annette Harrison) of Mays Landing.
Twelve grandchildren: Nicole Mlynarczyk, Tara Lombardozzi, Joseph Marioni, Kesha Catts, Arthur Catts, Corey Pohlig, Jason, Justin and Aleisha Catts, Jay and Amanda Ross and Rachel Ross; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by a brother David A. Ross of Atlantic City and sister-in-law Sandra Ross of Brigantine. He was also predeceased by brothers John Allen, Steven K. Ross, and sister Dorothy L. Worth. Bob will be greatly missed by his adorable dog, Sunday.
