Gerald A. Schuh, age 69, of 132 Hillcrest Drive, Kiel, died unexpectedly at his home Monday morning Feb. 17, 1997 of an apparent heart attack.
He was born Feb. 16, 1928 in Sheboygan, son of the late Henry P. and Clara Braun Schuh. He attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School. On June 18, 1949 he married Lucille Hitsman at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. Gerald was employed at Kohler Company for 41 years, retiring in 1991. In his retirement he enjoyed working at various businesses in the Kiel area. He enjoyed hunting with his dogs and bowling and was a wonderful grandpa to his grandchildren and great grandchild. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, St. Joseph the Worker/Council 5539-Knights of Columbus, Kiel VFW Post 6707, Kiel Fish and Game, Kiel Thursday Night Bowling League and a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille, one daughter, Janice (Mark) Forss, Kiel; three grandchildren, one great grandson; two brothers, Henry F. (Angie) Schuh, Kiel, and Edward (Helen) Schuh, Denver, Colorado; his twin sister, Geraldine (Floyd) Thelen, Kellnersville; his sister, Mary Ann (Edwin) Majkrzak, Kiel; one sister-in-law, Wanda Schuh, Kiel. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene.
Funeral Mass was at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Rev. Loren Nys SDS officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
