Mrs. Young, a resident of T-Mamou was a homemaker. She died December 24, 1995 at her residence after a short illness. She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter and her father Roman Klumpp. Ardoin's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, John Ray Young of T-Mamou and her mother, Mrs. Effie LeJeune Klumpp also of T-Mamou; two brothers, Harold Dean Klumpp and Donavon Klumpp both of T-Mamou; four sisters, Mrs. Jonike (Lovie Klumpp) Henderson of Porter, Texas, Mrs. Ramona Klumpp of Lafayette, Mrs. Leo (Gertie Klumpp) Benoit of T-Mamou, and Mrs. Sandra Klumpp Simar of Evangeline, and numerous nieces and nephews.
