He was born to William Fredrick and Bertha Nelson Reinhold in Battlecreek, Nebraska. He was the third of five children. Although Buzz struggled with hearing problems from a young age, his determination and quest for knowledge helped him succeed in school. He spent his youth in Nebraska where he learned the ethic of hard work. At the young age of nine Buzz began helping his father paint barns to earn money for the family. Little did he know that painting would become his lifelong career.

In 1937 he married Evelyn Glissman. They had two children together and were later divorced. In 1940 he moved to Ogden where he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for several years. In 1948 he met the love of his life, Louise Dowling. They were married on April 5, 1951. He was a loving father to her two children and they were later sealed as a family in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple.

Buzz valued his membership in the L.D.S. Church and served in many leadership positions throughout his life. He said the becoming a member of the L.D.S. Church “was the best step I ever took in my life”.

Buzz worked for Colorite as a painter for nearly 30 years. He was a man of many talents. He had a beautiful singing voice and recorded a song in the 40’s. He was a graceful dancer and enjoyed dancing with his wife. He was a creative artist and loved woodworking. He was an avid reader who treasured books and the world of knowledge they provided to him. He took great pride in caring for his home, yard and neighborhood. He was active in the Democratic party and opened his home as a polling place for many years. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and often took grandchildren along with them. His love, devotion and patience toward his grandchildren was beyond measure.

Buzz is survived by his son, Ernest (Susan) Heywood of Pleasant View and daughters, Carole (Ray) Baugh of Clinton and Beverly Reinhold of Ogden; 15 grandchildren, 30- great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is also survived by two sisters, Evelyn Reandeau and Dorothy Stevens; one brother, Donald Reinhold.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his baby boy, David.
