He was born to John and Esther Van Vleet Thomas. Cyrus was married to Ruth L Baker on April 1, 1920. She Preceded him in death in 1948.
Survivors include one son Malcom Thomas of Bartley; a daughter Nancy Mortimore of Stockville; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. one sister Nellie Haag of Danbury.
Funeral Services are scheduled for the Danbury Funeral Home at 10:30 am Friday feb 12th with the Rev Gary Waguespack Officiating with Lockenour Mortuary in Charge of arrangements. Memorial may be addressed to the Decatur County Good Samaritan Home.
