Carmen Eileen Shockley Boggs, age 60 of Greenfield died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 in Adena Regional Medical Center as the result of an auto accident.

She was born Dec. 10, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio. The daughter of David and Maggie (Davis) Shockley.

She was preceded in death by sister, Connie Shockley; father, David Shockley; father-in-law, Ray Shoemaker; & mother-in-law, Ima Jean Boggs.

She is survived by husband, Charles Boggs; sons Eric (April) Rice of Greenfield, Scott (Debbie) Rice of New Holland; daughter, April (Chuck) Flora of South Salem; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; mother, Maggie Shoemaker; brothers John Shockley, Mark (Robin) Shockley; sister Chris Shockley, all of Mt. Sterling; brother-in-law Mike (Tracey) Boggs of Columbus; numerous nieces & nephews; beloved Labrador Trace and son Boozer.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Tidd Funeral Home & Porter-Tidd Funeral Home Mt. Sterling. Rev. Lawrence Brown officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery.

Family will receive friends beginning 12:00 noon until time of service.
