Elsie E. (Stoeltje) Herber, 85, of New Braunfels, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas.
She was born to Charles Stoeltje and Alma (Schneider) Stoeltje in Falls City, Texas on August 30, 1928.
Elsie graduated from New Braunfels High School in 1946, and resided in New Braunfels from 1960 to 2003.
In 2003, she moved to San Antonio, Texas and resided there until her passing.
She is survived by her children; Iris Schulle and husband Arvel, Bonnie Crouch and husband Tom, Cathy McGough, John Herber and wife Kim, and Jeffrey Herber. Grandchildren; Wil Radicke, Justin Harlow, Douglas McGough, Sherry Watts, Kyle Herber, Thaddeus Herber, Cordell Herber, and Rowdy Joe Herber.
She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, three brothers, one sister, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by husbands Aaron J. "Bobbie" Herber and Norman Herber, as well as by her son Joe Herber.
There will be a public visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Zoeller Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Zoeller Funeral Home with burial to follow Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
