DEXTER, MO- Jimmy Lee Mims, 22 of Dexter died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, in an automobile accident on Route 3 in Alexander County, Ill.
He was born Dec. 31, 1977, at Dexter, son of James Samuel and Sherry Ellen Everett Mims.
Mims had lived in Southern Illinois nine years before moving to Dexter.
Survivors include his father of Malden, Mo; his mother of St. Louis; a sister, Jennifer Binz of House Springs, Mo.; a half sister, Johnny Dunn of O'Fallon, Mo.; two half brothers, Doug Mayer of Salt Lake City, Utah, and James Mims of Clarksville, Tenn.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ronnie Parker officiating. Burial will be in Parma Cemetery at Parma.
