Martha (Wentland) Ziegenhagen, 93, of Pierremont Ave., New Britain, died Wednesday (April 18, 2001) at New Britain General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Wilhelm Ziegengagen who died in 1998, and was also predeceased by a son Adam Ziegenhagen who died last year. Born in Poland on Oct. 8, 1907, she lived in New Britain since 1956 and was a member of the Church of God in New Britain.
Surviving is her son, Johann Ziegenhagen and his wife Krystyna of New Britain; 6 grandchildren, Michael Ziegenhagen and his wife Margaret of Kensington, Martha Ward and her husband Fred of New Britain, William Ziegenhagen and his wife Debbie of Colchester, Rosemarie Pelletier and her husband Michael of Bristol, Robert Ziegenhagen of Pennsylvania and Jeffrey Ziegenhagen of Bristol; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
