SALEM – Lillie Mae “Sally” Ashley, 58, of Batesville died Thursday, May 16, 2002, at Batesville.

Born July 28, 1943, at Viola, she was the daughter of Lillie Ethel Dale Dodd and Snowey Everette Dodd. She was a retired supply clerk for ConAgra Frozen Foods Inc.

Survivors include a son, James Ashley of Batesville; a daughter, Shawn Ashley of Batesville; her mother, of Batesville; four brothers, Charles Campbell of Viola, Larry Wayne Dodd and James Dodd, both of Batesville, and Ray Bob Dodd of Phoenix; four sisters, Kathleen Howell of Bexar, Lorene Johnson of Batesville, Carrie Dearing of Forrest City and Bertie Lee Dodd of Oregon; and five grandchildren, Shanna Tunstall, Zane Allen, Casey Allen, John Austin Hershelman and Hanna Hershelman.

She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Mac Campbell; and a sister, Oneta Graves.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Flora Cemetery at Viola. Arrangements are by Barker Funeral Home in Salem.
