"Albert N. Imdieke, age 90, of Meire Grove, died Sunday, August 3, 2008 at the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany.
"Albert Imdieke was born December 26, 1917 in Melrose to Herman and Veronica (Schulte) Imdieke. On September 17, 1940, he was united in marriage to Beata Boeckermann at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa. He was a lifelong resident of Meire Grove and retired from Kraft Foods in 1969. Albert was very proud of his 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. He enjoyed going out to eat with his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Meire Grove.
"Survivors include his daughters, Ann Marie (Donald) Hanauska of Albany, and Lila (Gary) Backes of St. Joseph; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Rose Fladung of Blackduck."
"Albert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beata in October of 1980; brothers, Norbert and Herman Imdieke; sisters, Susan Inderrieden, Dorothy Marthaler, and Sister Clare Imdieke."
