She was born Feb. 12, 1917, in Rock Valley, Iowa, to Edward and Irene Rudd Hillmer.
She was the former owner of the Green Rock Donut Shop for 30 years, retiring in 1972. She was a past president of Green Rock Senior Citizens and also a member of the Colona Township food pantry.
Survivors include several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Irene Cutler, Mesquite, Texas; special friends, Hazel (Laurence) Sletten, Colona.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, William Cutler; and a special friend, Carol Wilson.
