BENNETT, Dorothy Jean, age 87, passed away at her home on Monday, October 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her loving husband; James C. Bennett, two sisters: Mary Ellen and Marjorie and one granddaughter, Megan. Dorothy is survived by four daughters: Karen Sullivan (James), Joyce Muterspaw, Janet Armstrong, and Barbara Carl (Steve); one sister, Virginia Elbert; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was a long time member of Ascension Catholic Church and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Ascension Catholic Church on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10:00am. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 18, 2013, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BELMONT CHAPEL; 648 Watervliet Ave. at Fauver Ave. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's name to the American Heart Association , PO Box 15120 Chicago, IL 60693 or the Wounded Warriors Project, PO BOX 758517 Topeka, KS 66675
