Funeral services were held Feb. 6, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples. Burial will be in the evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.
Albert was born July 16, 1922, in St. Paul to Theodore and Mary (Kensey) Jambor. The family moved to Browerville when he was five years old. He grew up on the farm and attended the Catholic school in Browerville.
On Sept. 21, 1948, he married MaryAnn Cronin at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples. They worked on a farm near West Bend, Iowa for a couple of years. In February of 1951, they moved back to Minnesota and purchased the family farm in Moran Township. He also drove school bus for the Sacred Heart Catholic School.
He enjoyed spear fishing, hunting squirrels and playing cards. After retiring he also enjoyed taking trips with his son and spending time with his family.
Albert is survived by three daughters, JoAnn Drajna; Roaseann Jambor both of Staples; Carol (Bruce) John of Isanti; one son, Leo Jambor of North Branch; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three brothers, Joe of Browerville; Anton (Dolores) of Bethel; Jack of Milwaukee, Wisc.; one sister, Betty Lukes of Lester Prairie;two sisters-inlaw, Dorothy Jambor of St. Paul and Florence Jambor of Clarissa.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents, two grandsons, two sisters and their spouses, Mary (Elmer); Tina (Melvin); two brothers, Valec and Stanley; one sister-inlaw, Lorene; and one brother in-law, Dave.
