ELGIN - Irene Frenzel, 78, died Friday at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Central Christian Church in Elgin. Final services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Jack Rowe Funeral Home in Galveston, the Rev. Emil Lear officiating and the Rev. Earl Williams assisting. Burial will be in Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock. Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Frenzel was a member of Central Christian Church of Elgin, of the Order of Eastern Star of Elgin, and was a resident of Elgin for 43 years.
Survivors include two sons, Milton John Frenzel Jr. of Dickinson and Edward Louis Frenzel of Alvin; a daughter, Patricia McMaster of Chamblee, Ga.; two sisters, Lucille Sellers of Texas City and Lovie Kirkland of Dickinson; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
