MRS. ELSHOFF DIES; RITES SATURDAY
Mrs. Katie Morrison Elshoff, 76, of 416 S. Eighth St., widow of Antone Elshoff, died at 9:15 a.m. yesterday at St. John's hospital after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Elshoff was born June 27, 1870, in Terre Haute, Ind., and was married May 25, 1892, to Antone Elshoff, who for many years operated the Elshoff grocery store at Eighth and Jackson Sts. He died in 1939.
She was a member of the Altar and Rosary society and St. Columbia court Catholic Order of the Forresters.
Several nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Msgr. J.B. Franz officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
