Teddy was injured on 1 January 1970 at Quan Tri, Vietnam. He was flown to the 106th General Hospital at Yokahama, Japan with 3rd degree burns on 70% of his body.

Spec. 4/c U.S. Army, Vietnam War-Spec. Thomas died in the line of duty on 2-4-1970 while serving with Co. D of the 75th Support Battalion, 5th Infantry Division. Spec. Thomas started his tour of Vietnam on November 15, 1969.

He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Charles E. Thomas, Sr. of Fairborn, Ohio, and is a 1966 graduate of Fairborn H.S.

Awards: Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal.
