MARR, Evelyn Eileen (nee Olm) – of Port Colborne died Wednesday, March 24, 1999 at the Port Colborne General Hospital at the age of 80 years. She was born in Cobalt, Ontario and has lived in this area most of her life. She was a devoted life long member of the First Lutheran Church. She worked for many years at the Port Colborne General Hospital in the Dietary Department and retired from there. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Murray "Pat" Marr. She is survived by her loving children Donna James and her husband Clifford of Crystal Beach, Gerald Marr of Sherkston, Douglas Marr and his wife Gail of Wainfleet. Adored by her grandchildren Mark James, Jason and Tiffany Marr, Sarah and Matthew Marr. Dear sister of Mabel Kota of Port Colborne and Helen Luna of Wasaga Beach. She was also predeceased by her brothers Clarence, Gordon and Harley Olm. The Marr family will receive visitors at the Port Colborne Chapel of Davidson Funeral Homes, 135 Clarence Street on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Hackbush officiating. Interment to follow in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Pelham. Donations in memory of Mrs. Marr may be made to the First Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
