Delbert C. Edmundson, 58, 511 S. Franklin St., suffered a fatal heart attack Monday morning at Janesville City garage where he was a mechanic and died before being admitted to Mercy Hospital. He had worked for the city 24 years and was a Janesville resident 38 years. He was a member of the Moose lodge. Born in Linden, Wis., Aug. 24, 1906, he was the son of Theodore and Dora Richard Edmundson. He attended Dodgeville High School. He married Martha Huffman in Janesville May 16, 1944. Surviving are his wife; two daughters Mrs. Joseph Beran rte. 1 Delavan and Mrs. Ralph Honeysett Janesville; three sons, Eugene R., Arlington Heights, Ill., Clarence D., Milwaukee, and Byron A., rte. 1 Whitewater; 24 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Theodore Edmundson, Dodgeville; three brothers, Marvin Edmunds, Dodgeville, Thomas Edmunds, Las Vegas Nev. and Leonard Edmunds, Janesville; and two sisters, Mrs. Edwin Jandt, Minneapolis, and Mrs. W.P. Griswold, Fall River. His father, a brother, Theodore Jr., and a sister Eva predeceased him. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial park.
