Sarah C. Koehler, age 34, of Bellingham, passed away Wednesday, October 23rd, 2013.

She was born January 2, 1979 in Santa Clara, CA to Thomas and Patricia (Palmesano) Brady. Sarah grew up in Bellingham and attended Assumption Catholic School and Sehome High School.

Sarah dearly loved her husband Brandon, her two young daughters, and the rest of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, being around family, making others laugh and lifting their spirits in any way that she could.

Sarah could always light up a room and has been called "the life of the party" by all who have known and loved her. Her contagious and boisterous laughter could always be heard… even if two rooms away. If you understood and appreciated her extremely witty sense of humor, she was your friend for life. She was known for her enormous heart, accepting nature, her concern for others over herself, her quick wit and good natured sarcasm.

She loved travelling, reading, watching movies, spending time outdoors, mentoring others, live venues and new dining experiences. She had a great passion for music of every genre.

Sarah thoroughly enjoyed her nursing career and owned a nursing contracting company for eight years before taking a break to raise her two daughters.

We believe that Sarah is a true angel. By losing her precious life she saved the lives of two others who were in need of immediate kidney transplants.

Her greatest rock in life was always her mother Pat, who sadly passed away due to breast cancer in 2006.

A Vigil Service will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Friday, November 1st at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bellingham at 11 AM on Saturday, November 2nd. Fr. Joseph Altenhofen will be officiating.
