Patricia Jane Bank, 62, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, in James City County as the result of a car accident. She was a native of Peterstown, W.Va., and the daughter of the late Oakley and Mable Shinault of Suffolk. Pat was a devoted housewife to her husband of 27 years, Walter "Billy" Bank III and was dedicated to raising and caring for her granddaughter, Danielle Shirley. She is survived by three sisters, Shelby Raynor and Barbara Richardson, both of Chesapeake and Penny Ruperti of Norfolk; three brothers, Dennis Shinault of Chesapeake, Bruce Shinault of Suffolk and Philip Shinault of Winston-Salem, N.C.; daughter- in-law, Kristi Bank; three grandchildren, Reagan, Chelsae and Mason; stepdaughter, Melanie Nelson; and grandchildren, Kelsey, Nikki and Joseph; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jane Mottert. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday by Pastor Carolyn Schwartz in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family will receive friends in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be made at www.lovingfuneralhome.com.
