Death of Dr. Martin – We regret to learn that the Government received yesterday intelligence of the decease of Dr. Jacob L Martin, American Charge d'Affairs at Rome. He died at Rome, about the first of this month, very suddenly, being found dead in his bed without any known preliminary illness. Dr. M was, we believe, a native of N. Carolina, and much esteemed for his talents and amiable character. Nat. Int.
