Age 61, of Carson City, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at her home. .
Betty was born October 5, 1950 in Owosso the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Joo) Michalek. She graduated from Perry High School in 1967 and the following year married Howard Livermore on November 9, 1968 in Morrice. Betty worked as a manager - broker for Caldwell Banker for 20 years obtaining her brokers license in 1989. She was Realtor of the Year multiple times. After overcoming her fear of flying, she enjoyed traveling with her husband and spent their 40th wedding anniversary in Hawaii. .
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Howard, two children, Tim Livermore of Florida and Melissa Livermore of California. Three grandchildren, Kyle, Trevor and Sydney and four siblings, Dorothy Sayles of Crystal, Joanne (Bob) Willard of Laingsburg, Jim (Laurie) Michalek of Stanton and Jack (Diana) Michalek of Sheridan, sister-in-law, Sandra Michalek of Perry and many nieces and nephews. .
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Michalek mother and father-in-law Leonard and Norine Livermore, nieces Christina and Casandra and great niece Alexis. .
A funeral service will be held Monday, October 10, 2011 at 2 pm at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City with Fr. Tom Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 10 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pardee Cancer Treatment Center. .
