Funeral services for Alex George Lampert, 80, of Many, La., will be held at 4 p.m. today in the Alford Heights Baptist Church in Many, La., with the Revs. Dean Crittenden and Roy Dowden officiating.
Interment will follow in Jerusalem Cemetery in Many, La. Mr. Lampert died Saturday in a Shreveport hospital.
He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, having served in Lufkin. He also was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors: wife, Essie Lampert of Many, La.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
