Mark was born June 26, 1961 in Hastings to Gary and Theresa (Bauer) Heesch. He was a 1979 graduate of Hastings High School. He worked as a shipping supervisor for many years before becoming self-employed the last few years. Mark was an avid outdoorsman who loved being with his family, spending time outdoors, and hunting & fishing.
He is survived by his five loving children Meghan Heesch, Mallory Heesch, Michael Heesch, Angelica Heesch, and Brooke Heesch; his parents Gary Heesch and Theresa (Kenneth) Kossan; two sisters Amanda (Steve) Woods and Andrea Heesch; and also many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The Funeral Service, officiated by Fr. Cole Kracke will be 10:30 AM Monday, November 4, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers are Bruce Kummer, Randall Ficker, Jimmy McGee, Dan Heesch, Jeff Heesch and Kyle Heesch. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
