CONSTANT C. KAFALAS, 85, of Wilks Avenue, a retired truck driver, died Sunday at home.
He was the husband of Florence (Brunelle) Kafalas. Born in Woonsocket, July 4, 1915, he was a son of the late Harry and Marion (Guerin) Kafalas. He was a truck driver for the Tupperware Co. for 21 years, retiring in 1981, and had previously worked as a landscaper at the Stobbart Nurseries, Franklin, Mass.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, Slatersville. Mr. Kafalas was an avid fisherman.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Donald Kafalas of North Smithfield and Russell Kafalas of Harrisville; three daughters, Joan Paulhus of Franklin, and Joyce Serafin and Darlene Atwill, both of North Providence; two brothers, George Kafalas of Storrs, Conn., and Peter Kafalas of Flushing, N.Y.; three sisters, Andrea Anger of Woonsocket, Sophie Cowles of Pascoag, and Mary Vojnovich of Indianapolis; and 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Dennis Kafalas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Church Street, Slatersville
