Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday for Florian George Wegman, 52, of Route 3, who died Saturday at his home. Mr. Wegman was born Nov. 5, 1914 at Freeburg, the son of Bernard Ignatus and Mary Marie Schraeder Wegman.
He had been employed at the McGraw Edison Co. for seven years and had operated the Wegman Fish Market, Highway 50 East, for the last several years.
On May 5, 1936, he was married to the former Miss Sophia Josephine Klebba. She died April 2, 1958. He then was married Oct. 16, 1959, at Linn to Agetha Margaret Taube Rackers. She survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. Mary M. Wegman, Freeburg; two sons, Leon A. Wegman, Hialcah, Fla.; Victor G. Wegman, Paris; four daughters, Mrs. Archie Stegeman, Hutton Lane; Mrs. Stanley Cassmeyer, Route 3; Miss Bonita Ann Wegman and Miss Wanda Marie Wegman, both of the home; three step-daughters, Mrs. Donald Hoelscher and Mrs. Leo Wickers, both of 213 Johnson St. and Mrs. Margaret Shelly, Columbia; one brother, Bernard C. Wegman, Long Island, N.Y. Also surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Andrea Kinker, Mrs. Betty Stuecken, Mrs. Mary Steffermann, all of St. Louis; Mrs. Adolph Klebba, Belle, and Mrs. Georgia Dickneite, Freeburg. Eighteen grandchildren survive.
Mr. Wegman was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos.
Funeral service will be at the church, with the Rev. Kevin Gormley officiating. Burial will be at the Parish Cemetery. The Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at the Buescher Memorial Home, Jefferson City.
