Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Wednesday, April 13, 1949, page 2:
  Mrs. Mary Snajdr of 133 Brown avenue died at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph hospital in Highland where she has been a patient for the past week.
  She was born March 17, 1879, in Bohemia and came to this country with her parents, the late Martin and Mary Trikar, in 1882 locating in Collinsville where she attended school.
  She was married to William Vaclav Snajdr on Oct. 12, 1896, in Edwardsville who survives.
  She is also survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Burle; three sons, William, Charles and Edward Snajdr of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Lindbeck, Mrs. Emma Novak and Mrs. Agnes Kellermann; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. One daughter, Adele, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
  She was a member of the J.C.D. and the S.V.S. lodge, of which her husband is president.
  Friends may call at the Straube funeral home after 12 o'clock noon Thursday.
  Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 o'clock from the Straube funeral home with John Reiner of St. Louis in charge of the service.
  Burial will be in Valley View cemetery.
