Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Vise Ainsworth, 92, of Lucedale were held on Wednesday, April 30 at 2 p.m. at Agricola Baptist Church.

The body laid in state at the church from 1 p.m. to the hour of the service.

Mrs. Ainsworth was born in Jones County, but was a longtime resident of George County. She was a member of the Baptist faith. she died April 27 at George County Hospital following a short illness.

She is survived by a son, and a daughter (now deceased Doris Thompson) of Lucedale; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.

Also surviving are a sister, (now deceased Myra DeVaughan) and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ainsworth.

Services were conducted by Dr. Bryce Evans. Interment was in the Agricola Cemetery with George County funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
