Born in Trenton, NJ he came here in 1983 from Bordentown, NJ. Coming from NJ he was a retired GM employee of 30 years, and a member of the UAW local 731. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
He was a parishioner of the Holy Cross Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Counsel #11226 of Largo, FL.
He is survived by his wife Anna Mae Kleer; son Martin J. Kleer and his wife Marianne Martin of Clearwater, FL; a daughter Joann Kleer of St. Petersburg, FL; a grandson Brian Kleer; great grandson Justin Turek; a sister, Ann Marie Backes of Clearwater, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Suncoast Hospice.
