Olga B. Joslin was born Mar. 17,
1919 to Max and Dorothea Kleve
Bumann, on a farm north of Holstein in
Cherokee County. She graduated from
Silver No. 9 School. She then worked as
a housekeeper for a Cherokee banker.
She married Evan Joslin on Jan. 31,
1942 in North Hollywood, Calif. They
lived in Chula Vista, Calif, where she
worked at Rhors Aircraft Factory until
1945 when they returned to Aurelia and
started farming. In 1963 she moved to a
farm near Galva and resided in the area
until 1985 when she moved to Methodist
Manor in Storm Lake.
Mrs. Joslin was a member of St.
John Lutheran Church in Galva and a
past member of their Ladies Aid. She
also belonged to the Diamond Doers
and the Diamond Township Club.
